About this role

Records Managers, including Archivists, Information Managers, Collections Managers, and Librarians, play a crucial role in evaluating AI models by leveraging their professional expertise. In this position, you will assess AI-generated content relevant to your field, providing structured feedback that enhances the model''s understanding of workplace tasks and terminology. This project-based role offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to the evolving use of AI in your area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop prompts for AI models that accurately reflect your field.
  • Evaluate AI responses and provide clear, structured feedback.
  • Manage and organize archival records, creating classification systems and maintaining databases for easy access and retrieval.
  • Provide reference services, authenticate and appraise historical documents, and coordinate educational programs.
  • Direct staff in cataloguing and preserving collections while researching and acquiring new materials to enhance archives.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in relevant fields.
  • Experience in managing archival records and developing classification systems.
  • Ability to participate in asynchronous work with leading AI labs.
Work Terms
  • Remote and asynchronous work environment.
  • Flexible hours with no minimum commitment; most participants average 5-20 hours per week.
  • Placement in projects is dependent on availability.
Compensation

Up to $75/hr (depending on the project).

Eligibility

F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects. Consult with your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. Note that STEM OPT is not supported. Refer to the Help Center for more information on work authorization types supported.
