Telephone Operators play a vital role in evaluating and enhancing AI models by leveraging their professional experience in telecommunications. This position allows you to assess AI-generated content relevant to your field and provide structured feedback that improves the model''s understanding of workplace tasks and language. The program operates year-round, offering flexible, project-based opportunities that can complement your primary employment.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate AI model outputs related to your field and provide clear, structured feedback.
- Develop prompts for AI models that accurately reflect your professional expertise.
- Work independently and asynchronously from any location, with flexible hours averaging between 5-20 hours per week.
- Engage in tasks such as monitoring signal lights, operating telephone switchboards, and assisting customers with inquiries.
- Perform clerical duties including typing, proofreading, and updating directory information.
- Provide special assistance to individuals in emergency situations or those with specific needs.
- Keep accurate records of calls and related toll charges.
- Promote company products and services when appropriate.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in telecommunications or related fields.
- Experience in operating telephone systems and providing customer support.
- Ability to participate in asynchronous work with leading AI labs.
- This is a remote, part-time position with no minimum commitment required.
- Projects are available on a rolling basis, and your placement will depend on project availability.
Up to $60/hr (depending on the project).
EligibilityF-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects. Consult with your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. Note that STEM OPT is not supported.
