Tatar Language Expert for AI Training

Apply native or near-native fluency in Tatar and English to create high-quality language data that trains and evaluates next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on transcription, translation, linguistic analysis, and annotation of multimedia content, helping shape how models learn and reason. No prior AI experience is required.

• Transcribe Tatar-language audio and video, including accurate timestamps and speaker identification.
• Translate materials between Tatar and English, preserving contextual and conceptual meaning.
• Analyze linguistic features, including grammar, tone, and conceptual meaning, at an expert level.
• Detect and annotate emotional and tonal nuances expressed by speakers in multimedia content.
• Produce clear, comprehensive documentation for language data and annotation tasks.
• Collaborate with the customer''s team, provide feedback to improve data quality and project outcomes.
• Commit to a minimum of 15 hours of work weekly, prioritizing written and verbal communication excellence.

• Native or near-native fluency in both Tatar and English.
• Demonstrated expertise in transcription and translation between Tatar and English.
• Advanced linguistic analysis skills, with the ability to assess grammar, tone, and conceptual meaning.
• Proven ability to detect and annotate emotional tone and nuanced speaker intent.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience producing documentation or reports for language or linguistics projects.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.
• Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for annotation and collaboration.
• No prior AI experience required, domain expertise is the primary qualification.

• Prior experience with AI, machine learning, or language data annotation projects.
• Educational or professional background in linguistics, translation studies, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and document complex language phenomena.

• Work is remote, however candidates residing in or working from countries subject to comprehensive U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, OFAC, sanctions cannot be hired or contracted.

Pay range: $15.00 to $95.00 per hour.
