Apply deep neuroscience knowledge to create and verify high-quality content used to train next-generation AI systems. This contract role focuses on converting real-world neuroscience expertise into accurate explanations, annotated examples, and scenario-based materials that improve how models learn, reason, and perform.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and review neuroscience-related data, research, and case studies for scientific accuracy and relevance.
- Write detailed explanations, annotations, and commentary that clarify complex neuroscience concepts for AI training purposes.
- Develop or assess scenario-based questions and exercises based on current neuroscience understanding.
- Identify emerging trends, theories, and methodologies in neuroscience that can inform AI reasoning and content design.
- Verify consistency and scientific integrity of project content against established neuroscience standards.
- Collaborate with project facilitators to refine deliverables and ensure quality of submitted materials.
- Provide insights on how neuroscience principles apply in real-world contexts to increase data realism and applicability.
- Required: substantive expertise in neuroscience, demonstrated through research, teaching, clinical work, or consulting.
- Preferred: advanced degree such as PhD, MD, or equivalent experience in neuroscience or a closely related field.
- Proven track record of authoring or reviewing scientific publications, datasets, or educational materials related to neuroscience is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical ability to synthesize and communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and accurately.
- Awareness of recent advancements, trends, and challenges in neuroscience research or clinical practice.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to scientific rigor and accuracy.
- Prior experience collaborating on multidisciplinary or cross-functional projects is a plus.
- No prior experience in AI is required; domain expertise in neuroscience is the primary qualification.
This is a remote contractor engagement contributing to a customer project through an AI-focused data lab. The role is project-based and involves producing and reviewing neuroscience content for AI training. Candidates will work as independent contractors under the terms agreed at selection.
CompensationPay range: $60.00 to $80.00 per hour.
