Mechanical Engineer for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply mechanical engineering expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through accurate, real-world technical input. This remote contract role focuses on producing and evaluating high-quality engineering questions, solutions, analyses, and feedback. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical documents and extract information relevant to mechanical engineering.
• Create, review, and refine questions and solutions based on real-world mechanical engineering scenarios.
• Evaluate and solve complex engineering problems using advanced subject-matter knowledge.
• Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on document clarity, technical accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support accurate, in-depth data and analysis.
• Work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in data quality and project processes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of professional or academic experience in mechanical engineering or a closely related field, including laboratory, workplace, or academic settings.
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience creating or evaluating technical content, such as reports, studies, or problem sets.
• Strong problem-solving, data-analysis, self-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience working with technical documentation and analytical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master''s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology.
• Experience contributing to interdisciplinary or research-focused projects.
• Familiarity with data-driven analysis or training-data preparation.

Work Terms

• Remote independent-contractor engagement.
• Compensation is paid per task.

Compensation

$20 to $50 per task.
