Role Overview
Help create realistic PR and communications work environments that evaluate and improve AI agents. These simulated marketing organizations include authentic tools, documents, dashboards, personas, and intentionally embedded issues that test the judgment of experienced communications professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design PR and communications task briefs based on work you have personally performed, identifying the underlying issue and the decision an experienced practitioner should make.
- Define the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed to make each scenario realistic.
- Write or review reference answers and evaluation criteria that distinguish strong work from credible but incorrect responses.
- Review AI agent outputs against the professional standard you establish.
- Develop scenarios involving media pitching, embargo and exclusive strategy, announcement sequencing, interview preparation, coverage evaluation, corrections, and launch communications.
- Support evaluations of diagnosis from conflicting data, prioritization and tradeoffs, planning and execution, quality assurance and reconciliation, triage and escalation, research and evaluation, reporting, and multi-step work across multiple tools.
Qualifications
- Hands-on PR or corporate communications experience, including personally pitching reporters, managing embargoes, and handling corrections.
- Comfort working across email, shared drives, and project-tracking tools as part of a communications workflow.
- Strong written reasoning skills, with the ability to explain why a decision is correct.
- Experience building AI training environments, reinforcement learning environments, or simulated case studies is strongly preferred.
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is strongly preferred.
Work Terms
- Hourly engagement.
Compensation
- $60 to $100 per hour.
