Role Overview
Apply manufacturing expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on providing accurate, real-world input that improves how AI models understand manufacturing processes, equipment, compliance requirements, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert feedback to improve AI understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and compliance standards.
- Develop and curate high-quality manufacturing datasets with a remote, cross-functional team.
- Analyze manufacturing scenarios to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows for AI training.
- Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, industry alignment, best practices, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Document and communicate process improvements, technical knowledge, and workflow adjustments clearly and precisely.
- Apply Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methods to improve model performance and data quality.
- Contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-driven culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in process optimization, Lean manufacturing principles, and quality control within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency with manufacturing equipment, technical troubleshooting, and process documentation.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and solve technical problems efficiently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working effectively with remote, cross-functional teams and adapting to changing project needs.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and a commitment to delivering expert-level work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI training, machine learning, or data curation in a manufacturing setting.
- Six Sigma, Lean, or related process-improvement certification.
- Experience in technical writing or instructional documentation for manufacturing systems.
Work Terms
