Legal Professional for AI Research Project

Legal professionals apply their legal knowledge to design and evaluate prompts and to review large language model outputs so AI systems better understand real-world legal language, tasks, and workflows. Projects run year-round with opportunities opening periodically across different legal practice areas.

• Develop industry-specific prompts for legal scenarios and tasks.
• Evaluate and score LLM responses for accuracy, relevance, and clarity in legal contexts.
• Provide written feedback and annotations that guide model improvement.
• Perform remote, primarily asynchronous work on project tasks as assigned.
• Placement into specific projects will depend on project availability.

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Legal Secretary or Administrative Assistant; Lawyer; Paralegal or Legal Assistant; Judicial Law Clerk.
• Comfortable working primarily asynchronously and collaborating with AI research teams.

• Location: Remote.
• Employment type: Part time.
• Schedule: Flexible hours, asynchronous work, no minimum hourly commitment.
• Projects are available year-round but specific assignments are offered periodically and depend on project availability.

Up to $150/hr (depending on the project)

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate. Work with your Designated School Official to determine eligibility.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not meet your school’s CPT requirements.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
