DaVinci Resolve Editor / Colorist

Role Overview

Apply DaVinci Resolve expertise to annotate and evaluate video content for an AI training project. This remote contract role uses real-world video editing, color correction, grading, and audiovisual post-production knowledge to help improve how AI systems interpret footage. No previous AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform video data annotation in DaVinci Resolve according to detailed project guidelines.
• Use color correction and grading knowledge to evaluate and interpret footage characteristics.
• Review, label, and comment on video clips to produce structured training data.
• Assess audiovisual content for quality, clarity, and technical attributes against defined parameters.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and provide feedback on annotation processes and tools.
• Document decision-making approaches and communicate insights that support model improvement.
• Meet project milestones and follow submission protocols.

Qualifications

• Hands-on post-production experience using DaVinci Resolve.
• Proficiency in video editing, color correction, and color grading fundamentals.
• Knowledge of digital video formats and technical specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail and clear annotations.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow complex instructions.
• Openness to feedback and willingness to refine annotation approaches as project needs change.
• Experience or interest in data annotation or structured labeling is helpful but not required.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.
• Well suited to entry-level and mid-level audiovisual professionals.

Compensation

$15 to $80 per hour.
