About this role

Role Overview

Help strengthen realistic data-center engineering, procurement, and construction tasks through technical peer review. You will evaluate project-delivery and field scenarios, address gaps in task materials, and ensure expected outputs and grading methods align with professional EPC practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review long-horizon tasks covering design coordination, procurement and vendor data, bid and issued drawing packages, EOR revisions, constructability, temporary works, 4D sequencing, field engineering, commissioning, and handover.
  • Evaluate scope interfaces, technical requirements, schedule logic, equipment and material constraints, document control, construction methods, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify ambiguities, conflicting source documents, missing constraints, and unrealistic deliverables.
  • Improve task prompts, supporting artifacts, acceptance criteria, rubrics, and programmatic checks.
  • Prepare clear technical findings and validate corrected tasks from start to finish.
Qualifications
  • Typically 2 or more years of experience delivering data centers, mission-critical facilities, or similarly complex capital projects through EPC, design-build, or construction-management models.
  • Experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Design Manager, Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Procurement Engineer, Commissioning Manager, Project Controls Lead, or Technical Project Manager.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction interfaces. PE, PMP, CCM, or commissioning credentials are preferred when relevant.
  • Experience with a leading EPC, design-build, engineering, or construction firm is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret large document sets, specifications, drawings, schedules, equipment submittals, cost and constraint registers, and field records.
  • Precise, detail-oriented written communication and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Work Terms
  • Remote, hourly engagement.
  • Immediate start.
  • Approximately 5 to 10 hours per week initially.
Compensation

$80 to $130 per hour, based on experience and role fit.
