Role Overview
Support customers by phone while contributing real-world input that helps train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. You will represent customers during live calls with businesses and service providers, completing everyday requests with professionalism, discretion, and clear English communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Place and receive calls on customers’ behalf for reservations, appointment scheduling, vendor confirmations, and related tasks.
- Communicate professionally with businesses and service providers to gather information and fulfill requests.
- Navigate automated phone menus, hold queues, and call centers to reach the appropriate contact.
- Accurately document call outcomes and important details while maintaining confidentiality.
- Handle a high volume of short, consecutive calls covering varied customer needs.
- Collaborate with remote colleagues to provide a consistent, high-quality service experience.
- Maintain strong standards of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive customer information.
Qualifications
- Experience in executive assistance, virtual assistance, concierge services, or phone-based customer support is preferred.
- Fluent, neutral, and clear spoken English, with strong live-conversation and improvisational skills for interactions with US-based businesses.
- Confidence placing outbound and cold calls and navigating automated phone systems.
- Strong customer service, appointment-handling, scheduling, phone-call, and CAPTCHA-completion skills.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection, quiet workspace, and quality wired or USB headset.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple consecutive tasks, and deliver high-quality remote service.
- Hospitality, restaurant, or travel experience is a plus, as is negotiation or escalation experience.
Work Terms
- Remote independent-contractor engagement for professionals in LATAM.
- Initial four-week engagement with four five-hour shifts per week, up to 20 hours weekly.
- You must remain fully active and responsive throughout each scheduled shift.
- Weekend availability is required for part of the team.
- Selected candidates are generally placed within 48 hours and should be ready to begin shifts within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.
Compensation
- $18 to $28 per hour.
- Payment is based on scheduled available hours, not the number of calls completed.
Eligibility
- This role requires strong written and verbal English communication and fluent, clear spoken English for US-based interactions.
