Private Investigator for AI Model Training

Private detectives and investigators can apply their casework, evidence-gathering, and reporting expertise to evaluate AI outputs and improve how AI models understand investigative work and professional language. No prior AI experience is required.

• Assess AI-generated content related to private investigation work and provide clear, structured feedback.
• Create field-relevant prompts and evaluate AI responses for quality and accuracy.
• Draw on experience gathering and analyzing information from sources such as computer databases and public records to solve cases or identify fraudulent activity.
• Apply context from documenting findings in detailed reports, testifying in court when needed, using advanced technology, and conducting undercover operations to obtain evidence.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in private investigation, investigative work, or related responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and participate in asynchronous collaboration with leading AI labs.

• Remote, temporary, hourly, part-time work completed asynchronously from wherever you are.
• Flexible hours with no minimum commitment. Most contributors average 5 to 20 hours.
• Projects operate year-round, with opportunities opening periodically across areas of expertise.
• Project placement depends on availability. If a suitable project is not available when you apply, additional projects may become available later.

Up to $75/hr (depending on the project)

• F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to determine eligibility.
• If your school requires a CPT course, this work may not meet your school’s requirements.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
