Role Overview
Apply 3D animation and CGI/VFX expertise to create and annotate video data that helps improve next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on realistic character movement, rigging, and detailed analysis of animation in 3D environments. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and annotate high-quality 3D character animations for AI training datasets using Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D.
- Use rigging and character-movement techniques to represent motion and behavior accurately in 3D models.
- Analyze and annotate video data to strengthen AI understanding of animation and CGI elements.
- Work with project coordinators to clarify annotation guidelines and align deliverables with customer needs.
- Identify and document nuanced animation features using CGI/VFX knowledge.
- Maintain consistent, accurate, visually polished submissions.
- Provide constructive feedback to refine annotation strategies and processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D animation, specifically 3D work, using Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D.
- Solid understanding of rigging, skinning, and character-movement workflows.
- Experience with CGI/VFX pipelines and best practices for video data annotation or asset review.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and describe subtle differences in movement and visual style.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and collaboration in a remote environment.
- Entry-level or mid-level experience in 3D animation, CGI, or a related field. Senior-level expertise is not required.
- Interest in contributing high-quality creative work to AI development.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $15 to $80 per hour.
