This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your social work expertise in a groundbreaking initiative aimed at developing realistic enterprise environments for training and evaluating advanced AI agents. You will collaborate with leading AI labs on a project that seeks to recreate the digital workspaces of social services organizations, utilizing your experience from large hospital systems, county departments of human/social services, or major nonprofit organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Build a realistic digital workspace that reflects your daily operations, including case notes, assessments, service plans, referrals, progress reports, and relevant platforms such as Salesforce Nonprofit and DocuSign.
- Design multi-step tasks based on your real workflows that challenge AI agents by requiring navigation through multiple applications, files, and stakeholder interactions.
- Collaborate with fellow social work experts to design the environment, define task scope, and ensure the realism and rigor of each scenario.
- Work asynchronously with research teams to refine task designs and establish evaluation criteria for social services agent benchmarks.
- Contribute to cutting-edge AI research, with your work directly influencing how leading labs train and evaluate the next generation of AI systems.
- LCSW / LMSW / equivalent state licensure is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in a large hospital system, county DHS / DCF, or major nonprofit/behavioral health organization.
- Experience in one or more areas such as clinical/medical social work, protective services, school social work, macro social work, or substance-use/mental-health program operations.
- Proficient in using Salesforce Nonprofit, Apricot (Bonterra), DocuSign, and SharePoint/Box in daily operations.
- Strong analytical thinking and writing skills, with the ability to translate social work practices into structured task specifications.
This is a remote, hourly position.
CompensationThe expected hourly rate ranges from $40 to $55. The compensation model will transition from an hourly rate to a throughput-based model, rewarding quality work.
