Reservoir engineers can apply their subsurface, production, and reservoir-analysis expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and improve AI understanding of real-world reservoir engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Use hands-on reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, and production operations experience to create expert-level training data.
- Assess AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and relevance.
- Provide detailed feedback that strengthens AI understanding of reservoir engineering practices and subsurface workflows.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, or production operations.
- Experience in roles such as Reservoir Engineer, Petrophysicist, Production Engineer, Reserves Analyst, or an equivalent energy-industry role.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: Spotfire, CMG, MBAL, FracPro, PVTi, WellView, or Petrel.
- Strong written communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
- No prior AI experience is required.
- Remote, part-time, hourly contract engagement.
- Flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement.
- Contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
- Project placement depends on current needs, with consideration for future projects as they become available.
