Renewable Energy Analyst for AI Model Evaluation

Renewable Energy Analysts apply hands-on experience in generation analysis, forecasting, and REC markets to evaluate AI-generated content and produce expert-level analytical outputs that improve AI understanding of renewable energy workflows and environmental markets practices.

• Review AI-generated materials and provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve model accuracy for renewable energy and environmental markets tasks.
• Independently produce expert analytical work and data outputs using the tools and workflows you use in professional practice.
• Complete structured, project-based assignments that mirror real work tasks, for example building price forecast models or drafting PPA documentation.
• Execute domain-specific workflows such as renewable generation forecasting and performance reporting, renewable generation forecast production, and Renewable Energy Certificate verification and retirement.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in renewable energy generation, forecasting, or environmental markets in roles such as Renewable Generation Performance Analyst, Renewable Asset Forecasting Analyst, REC / Environmental Markets Analyst, or equivalent energy industry positions.
• Bachelor''s degree or higher required.
• Ability to independently produce work using one or more of the following tools: WREGIS, AVEVA PI.
• Proven ability to perform workflows including generation forecasting, performance reporting, and REC verification and retirement.
• Strong written communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an asynchronous environment.

• Part-time, hourly contract engagement, fully remote; this is not a traditional full-time employment role.
• Flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement; most contributors work approximately 5, 20 hours per week when participating in an active project.
• Assignment to specific projects depends on current project needs; contributors may be considered for additional future projects as they become available.

Up to $80/hr (depending on the project).

• F-1 students with eligible CPT or OPT authorization may be able to participate. Confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official; if your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not satisfy that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
