Reservoir Engineer for AI Model Evaluation

Energy industry professionals can leverage their expertise in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, and production operations to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This role involves evaluating AI-generated content and providing feedback to enhance AI''s understanding of subsurface workflows and reservoir engineering practices.

This ongoing, project-based opportunity allows you to engage in work that fits around your existing commitments.

• Utilize your professional experience and knowledge of industry tools to create expert-level training data.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with AI research teams while working independently and asynchronously.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, or production operations, including roles such as:
• Reservoir Engineer or Petrophysicist
• Production Engineer or Reserves Analyst
• Equivalent roles in the energy industry
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools:
• Petrel
• ARIES
• Techlog
• Avocet
• AVEVA PI
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.

Fully remote position with a flexible, asynchronous schedule and no minimum hour requirement. Most contributors work approximately 5, 20 hours per week during active projects.

Up to $85/hr (depending on the project).

Placement is based on current project needs, with opportunities to be considered for future projects as they become available.
