Role Overview
Physics experts apply their training to evaluate AI-generated physics content, improving models'' understanding of physical reasoning, mathematical modeling, and technical problem solving through targeted feedback and question design.
Key Responsibilities- Design rigorous, domain-relevant questions that exercise mathematical and physical reasoning.
- Review AI-generated solutions for accuracy, logical consistency, and mathematical rigor.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback that helps improve model performance on physics and problem-solving tasks.
- Document errors, edge cases, and common failure modes in AI responses to guide future iterations.
- Current master’s students or graduates in Physics or a closely related field, including Applied Physics, Astrophysics, or Engineering Physics.
- Strong background in physical reasoning, mathematical modeling, and analytical problem solving.
- No prior AI or technical experience is required; the role relies on domain expertise and mathematical skill.
- Engagement type: part-time, hourly contract work suitable to combine with research, teaching, coursework, or industry employment.
- Fully remote, flexible, asynchronous schedule.
- No minimum hour requirement; when active on a project contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week.
- Ongoing, project-based participation, with placement determined by current project needs and opportunities to be considered for future projects as they become available.
Up to $50/hr (depending on the project).
