Mathematician for AI Content Evaluation

Math PhDs and doctoral-level mathematicians apply advanced mathematical training to evaluate AI-generated mathematical content, design rigorous domain-relevant questions, and provide detailed feedback to improve mathematical reasoning, proof construction, and technical problem solving. This engagement is hourly contract work rather than a traditional academic or full-time role, and can be performed alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral positions, or industry employment.

• Design rigorous, domain-relevant mathematics questions and prompts for evaluation tasks.
• Review AI-generated answers for accuracy, logical consistency, and mathematical rigor.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback, corrections, and alternative solution approaches.
• Document recurring errors, edge cases, and failure modes in AI reasoning.
• No prior AI or technical experience is required; emphasis is on mathematical expertise.

• Current doctoral students, PhD graduates, or postdoctoral researchers in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Proven strength in advanced mathematical reasoning, formal logic, and proof-writing.

• Engagement type: hourly contract work, fully remote.
• Part-time, flexible asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement.
• When participating in active projects, most contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week.
• This is not a traditional full-time or academic appointment.

Up to $75/hr (depending on the project)

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify, but you must confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course for authorization, these projects may not meet that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported for these projects.

Placement on particular projects depends on current project needs. Being accepted into one project does not guarantee ongoing assignments, but contributors may be considered for future projects as they become available.
