About this role

Role Overview

Help build realistic simulated marketing work environments that evaluate and improve AI agents. These environments recreate a marketing organization’s working tools, including email, storage, CRM, project management, social media management, web analytics, AEO/SEO, advertising, CMS, product analytics, and support systems, using realistic documents, dashboards, personas, and intentionally embedded problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design marketing operations task briefs based on work you have performed, identifying the embedded issue and the conclusion a strong practitioner should reach.
  • Define the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed to make each scenario realistic.
  • Write or review reference answers and evaluation criteria that distinguish strong responses from plausible but incorrect ones.
  • Review AI agent attempts and assess them against your professional standard.
  • Create and evaluate work involving messy or conflicting data diagnosis, prioritization and tradeoffs, planning and execution, QA and reconciliation, triage and escalation, research and evaluation, reporting, and multi-step coordination across several tools.

Marketing Operations Scope

Work may cover lead routing, workflow design, campaign operations, agency and process transitions, and coordination across the marketing and sales technology stack.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on marketing operations experience, including personally building routing rules, workflows, and reporting.
  • Fluency with a CRM such as Salesforce, a marketing automation platform, a project tracker such as Asana or Linear, and a support platform such as Zendesk or Intercom.
  • Experience building AI training environments, reinforcement learning environments, or simulated case studies is strongly preferred.
  • Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is strongly preferred.
  • Clear written reasoning skills, with the ability to explain why a decision is correct.

Work Terms

Hourly engagement.

Compensation

$60 to $100 per hour.

Application Process

Applicants complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screening assessment for this marketing operations specialty before their application is reviewed.
