Role Overview
Join a leading AI lab in a unique opportunity to influence the development of frontier models by applying your legal expertise. As a Legal Expert, you will evaluate AI-generated outputs in realistic workplace scenarios, helping to shape how AI understands and reasons about employment disputes, workplace investigations, and labor matters. Your background in legal research, writing, and case analysis will be crucial in ensuring that evaluations are accurate and reflective of real-world legal reasoning.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate two AI-generated responses for the same prompt for correctness, accuracy, and client-readiness.
- Provide written feedback to the research team to enhance model behavior.
- Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.
- 2+ years of professional experience in employment/labor law at a law firm, in-house legal department, government agency, or labor union.
- J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S. (active or inactive).
- Strong experience in legal research and legal writing, including case law analysis and drafting legal memoranda.
- Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.
Flexible workload of 6-15 hours per week.
Compensation$100, $150/hr.
