This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced Labor & Employment lawyers to contribute to a research project with a leading frontier AI lab. As a key participant, you will leverage your expertise in employment law to create, review, and evaluate realistic legal and workplace policy scenarios.
Key Responsibilities- Create and review corporate workplace policies.
- Evaluate employee handbooks and HR policies.
- Provide labor and employment advisory services.
- Conduct workplace investigations.
- Advise on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and accommodation policies.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations.
- Address termination, discipline, and employee relations matters.
- Navigate multi-jurisdictional employment law issues.
- Support multinational companies with employment law matters.
- Qualified to practice law in the United States.
- Professional experience in a Labor & Employment / Employment Law practice group.
- Based in the United Kingdom.
- Experience advising on or reviewing corporate workplace policies.
- Experience at leading law firms such as Baker McKenzie, Littler, Seyfarth Shaw, Squire Patton Boggs, Ogletree Deakins, Morgan Lewis, Paul Hastings, Proskauer, A&O Shearman, Hogan Lovells, Gibson Dunn, or similar firms with a strong Labor & Employment practice.
This is an hourly position, and candidates must be based in the United Kingdom.
CompensationThe hourly compensation ranges from £225 to £250.
EligibilityCandidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and be US-qualified lawyers. These are essential requirements for the role.
