Investment Banking M&A Specialist for AI Research

This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced banking professionals to engage in a research project with a leading frontier AI lab, focusing on investment banking and mergers and acquisitions.

• Contribute to the creation, review, and evaluation of high-quality banking and M&A scenarios.
• Leverage experience in investment banking, transaction analysis, and corporate finance decision-making.
• Analyze financial statements and interpret valuation outputs.
• Understand deal processes and translate complex financial information into clear recommendations.

• Strong background in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, valuation, and transaction execution.
• Experience working on M&A transactions, including financial modeling, company analysis, due diligence, pitch materials, market research, and deal execution support.
• Experience at one or more bulge bracket investment banks, such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, or another leading global investment bank with a strong M&A practice.
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling and valuation, company and industry analysis, transaction execution, due diligence, pitch books, and strategic buyer or public-company transaction analysis.

• Remote position with availability to work up to 40 hours per week.

• Hourly rate of £160 - £180.

• Must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
