Role Overview
Engage with leading AI labs to leverage your investment banking expertise in enhancing AI systems'' financial modeling, deal execution, valuation, and capital markets reasoning. This project-based role allows you to contribute to the evaluation and improvement of AI performance in investment banking-specific tasks, with potential for ongoing engagement based on project needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to financial modeling, valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedent transactions), pitch materials, and deal structuring.
- Create realistic scenarios based on investment banking workflows, including deal screening, due diligence checklists, management presentations, fairness opinions, and syndication processes.
- Annotate, label, and validate data across investment banking use cases such as financial statement analysis, capital structure optimization, and market commentary.
- Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy regarding SEC regulations, deal documentation, financial terminology, and industry-specific conventions.
- Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for financial services AI.
- 3+ years of professional experience at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, middle market, or regional investment bank.
- Background in one or more areas such as:
- M&A advisory
- Equity or debt capital markets (ECM/DCM)
- Leveraged finance or credit
- Restructuring or special situations
- Industry coverage groups (TMT, healthcare, industrials, FIG, etc.)
- Series 7, 63, 79 or CFA designation is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate deal workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
- Clear written communication and attention to detail.
- Task Completion Pay: Competitive and based on task quality (~$1, 750, $2, 150 per completed task, subject to change as the project evolves).
