Financial Data Privacy Analyst for AI Training

As a Financial Data Privacy Analyst, you will leverage your expertise to influence the development of next-generation AI systems. Your contributions will ensure that these models learn and perform effectively by providing high-quality, real-world insights. This role does not require prior AI experience; your domain knowledge in data privacy and finance is what will drive success.

• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in financial documents and digital systems.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of global data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA, to ensure compliance in all data handling practices.
• Review and redact sensitive financial documents, such as Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), financial statements, and contracts, using industry-standard privacy and redaction tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and document robust data privacy protocols across sensitive workflows.
• Evaluate document content for indirect identifiers, recognizing that PII can exist beyond obvious data points.
• Provide expert recommendations to enhance data privacy controls within the customer’s finance and corporate environments.
• Support incident response and risk mitigation strategies related to data breaches or policy violations.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with PII compliance in finance or corporate settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA) and their application to financial data.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling sensitive documents and using redaction tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex privacy requirements into actionable practices for the customer’s team.
• Experience managing workflows and protocols involving confidential information within financial systems.
• Attention to detail and an investigative mindset for identifying non-obvious PII within documentation.

• Background in finance, auditing, or compliance roles within regulated industries.
• Familiarity with privacy tools and solutions for automating PII detection and redaction in bulk document processing.
• Certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent) is a plus.

This is a contract position with remote work flexibility.

Hourly rate ranges from $35 to $70.
