About this role
FP&A analysts with retail finance experience can apply their planning and performance-analysis expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and improve how AI understands retail finance workflows and planning practices.
Key Responsibilities- Use hands-on knowledge of financial planning, budget management, and retail performance analysis to create expert training data.
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance, then provide detailed feedback to support AI research.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in retail finance or financial planning and analysis, including experience as an FP&A Analyst, Senior FP&A Analyst, or in an equivalent retail-industry role.
- Hands-on experience with financial planning, budget variance analysis, long-range planning, hindsight analysis, store performance reporting, in-season reforecasting, and demand forecasting.
- Strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
- No prior AI experience is required.
- Remote, flexible, asynchronous, hourly contract work that may be performed alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.
- No minimum hour requirement. Contributors commonly work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
- Project placement depends on current needs, and qualified applicants may be considered for future projects as they become available.
Up to $80/hr (depending on the project).
