Role Overview
Apply your hands-on financial planning experience to shape how next-generation AI systems reason about everyday household finance. You will evaluate realistic advisory scenarios, judge model recommendations for suitability and compliance, and document real-world advisor-client interactions so AI can learn practical, client-first advice. No prior AI experience is required, your domain expertise is the priority.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate realistic advisory scenarios involving budgets, emergency funds, debt management, retirement planning, and mainstream household investment decisions.
- Assess AI-generated recommendations for suitability, clarity, compliance, and practical actionability for W-2 earners and middle-income families.
- Document how advisor-client conversations typically unfold, including goal prioritization, tradeoff discussion, and step-by-step decision points.
- Record common decision rules, rules of thumb, and benchmarks used in practice, for example cash reserve targets, debt payoff sequencing, and retirement savings rates.
- Provide clear, plain-language written feedback to improve AI explanations, suggested next steps, and client-facing communication.
- Identify and flag compliance or risk issues, emphasize a fiduciary, client-first approach, and indicate appropriate referral scenarios such as CPA, attorney, or insurance specialist.
- Contribute to developing workflows and processes that reflect best practices in everyday personal finance advising.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on, client-facing experience providing holistic financial planning to mainstream households in roles such as Financial Advisor, Wealth Advisor, or Personal Financial Consultant.
- Expertise in budgeting, cash flow analysis, debt management, retirement savings strategies, college planning, and basic risk management including insurance needs analysis.
- CFP® certification strongly preferred, or CFP exam passed with substantial relevant experience. CFA, ChFC, or similar credentials will be considered if paired with strong mainstream client work.
- Demonstrated commitment to fiduciary standards, compliance, and high-integrity client service.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex topics into plain language for non-experts.
- Experience mentoring others, developing workflows, or standardizing planning processes.
- Comfort working asynchronously and independently in a remote environment.
- Preferred but not required, experience blending financial planning with ongoing coaching, designing standardized planning processes or digital advisory journeys, and familiarity with personal finance apps, digital advice platforms, or AI-driven tools.

- Pay: $80.00 to $110.00 per hour.
- Must be located in and authorized to work in the United States. This role is open to US-based contractors only.
