About this role
Role Overview
Provide expert, hands-on evaluation of finance tasks and workflows to ensure they reflect real professional practice in real estate underwriting, project finance, infrastructure, energy, mining, and natural resources investing. You will judge task scope, inputs, constraints, and expected workflows for realism, and deliver concise, actionable feedback that raises the technical bar for an intensive, time-sensitive Finance Sprint within Project Mercury.

- Assess whether task inputs, contextual information, and the expected workflow match how work is actually performed in your field.
- Identify missing assumptions, ambiguous instructions, unsupported requirements, impractical constraints, and material edge cases.
- Flag tasks that are too broad, too generic, or unlikely to produce meaningful signals of finance capability.
- Provide concise, structured written feedback and targeted recommendations to improve task realism and evaluation quality.
- When necessary, cross-check task logic with trusted domain peers to maintain high standards across the sprint.
- Work with confidential task content that may change during the sprint, and apply professional judgment to varied, domain-specific scenarios.

- Strong skills in cash-flow modeling, valuation, debt structuring, and sensitivity analysis.
- Ability to connect legal, technical, operating, and market inputs to financial outcomes.
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to explain both whether something is correct and why.
- High attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and comfort evaluating work against explicit standards.
- Experience reviewing analysts, approving work, designing controls, or setting quality standards is especially valuable for the senior reviewer track.
- Remote engagement, high-intensity Finance Sprint beginning within 24 hours of assignment posting.
