Role Overview
Electrical engineering researchers apply expertise in signal processing, systems and control, and research methodology to evaluate AI-generated technical content and provide feedback that improves AI understanding of electrical engineering research.
Key Responsibilities- Create expert-level training data using research expertise and academic knowledge.
- Assess AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and relevance.
- Provide detailed feedback grounded in electrical engineering and systems science research practices.
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Systems Science, or a related field from a top 100 U.S. university.
- Research background in one or more of the following areas: signal processing; audio and speech processing; image and video processing; systems and control.
- Familiarity with arxiv.org, particularly the Electrical Engineering and Systems Science repository, eess.
- Strong written communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
- No prior AI experience is required.
- Remote, flexible, asynchronous hourly contract work.
- No minimum hour requirement. Contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
- Project placement depends on current needs, and qualified applicants may be considered for future projects as they become available.
Up to $75/hr (depending on the project).
Eligibility- F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
- If your school requires a CPT course, this work may not satisfy the school''s requirements.
- STEM OPT is not supported.
