Corporate Attorney for AI Training

Join an innovative initiative to build realistic enterprise environments for training and evaluating frontier AI agents. As a Corporate Law Expert, you will leverage your extensive experience in corporate law to recreate the digital workspaces that reflect the complexities of sophisticated corporate practice. Your expertise in areas such as M&A, capital markets, and corporate governance will be crucial in designing tasks that challenge state-of-the-art AI.

• Construct a realistic digital workspace that mirrors your daily tools and workflows, including engagement letters, diligence memos, deal drafts, and other relevant documents.
• Design multi-step tasks based on your actual workflows, focusing on end-to-end client engagements that require navigating various applications and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with fellow corporate attorneys to shape the environment, define task scope, and review scenarios for realism and rigor.
• Work asynchronously with research teams to refine task designs and establish evaluation criteria for corporate-law agent benchmarks.
• Contribute to cutting-edge AI research, with your work directly influencing how leading labs train and evaluate the next generation of AI systems.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time corporate experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or Fortune 500 in-house legal department.
• Expertise in one or more areas including M&A, capital markets, corporate governance, commercial transactions, private equity, or venture capital.
• Proficient in using Westlaw, LexisNexis, Datasite Diligence, Intralinks, and Icertis or HotDocs.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to translate corporate-law workflows into structured task specifications.

This role is remote and operates on an hourly basis.

The hourly compensation ranges from $100 to $120. This project will initially be compensated at an hourly rate, transitioning to a model where experts are compensated based on the throughput of quality work.
