About this role
As a Compliance & Regulatory Expert, you will play a pivotal role in advancing frontier agent evaluations in compliance by developing long-horizon compliance tasks. These tasks will be designed to reflect your existing work, each accompanied by a deterministic rubric that assesses agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Your focus will be on creating scenarios that yield checkable answers, avoiding open-ended essays and subjective judgments.
Key Responsibilities- Policy and Program Design: Develop policies that cover a required element list and create training materials aligned with a defined curriculum.
- Regulatory Tracking: Conduct rule change analyses and make ground-truth applicability decisions.
- Assessments: Perform risk assessments with defined scoring and develop Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) with required sections and correct control mappings.
These scenarios will be complex and require extended periods of focused work.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, or regulatory affairs.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, SOX, AML/KYC, the EU AI Act.
- Proficient in reading and producing compliance artifacts, including policies, risk assessments, training materials, and regulatory change memos.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
- CIPP, CAMS, JD, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Must be located in the United States.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $90 to $125, depending on your domain expertise and prior experience. High-performing contributors will have opportunities for promotion based on the quality and throughput of their work.
