Cartographers and photogrammetrists can apply their expertise to evaluate AI models and enhance their understanding of geographical data. In this role, you will utilize your professional experience to assess AI-generated content, provide structured feedback, and contribute to the development of AI applications in your field. This project-based engagement is available year-round, with opportunities opening periodically across various areas of expertise.Key Responsibilities
- Develop prompts for AI models that accurately reflect your field of work.
- Evaluate AI responses and provide clear, structured feedback to improve model performance.
- Compile and analyze data from aerial photographs, surveys, and satellite images to create and revise detailed maps and charts.
- Utilize precision stereoplotting apparatus and computer graphics for delineating topographic and cultural features.
- Employ drone technology for high-resolution data collection and update digital databases.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cartography, photogrammetry, or related fields.
- Experience with data compilation and analysis from various sources, including aerial and satellite imagery.
- Ability to work asynchronously and independently, collaborating with leading AI labs.
This is a remote and asynchronous position, allowing you to work independently from anywhere. The hours are flexible, with an average commitment of 5-20 hours per week and no minimum requirement.
CompensationCompensation is up to $75/hr, depending on the project.
