Biology Expert for AI Model Evaluation

Biology experts contribute their scientific knowledge to AI research projects by helping improve how large language models understand and explain specialized biological concepts.

You will work independently on remote, primarily asynchronous projects in collaboration with leading AI labs. This work supports the development of advanced AI models across scientific and language-focused disciplines, while offering opportunities to explore topics that interest you and build new skills.

• Develop biology-specific prompts for AI systems.
• Evaluate large language model responses for scientific accuracy, reasoning, and clarity.
• Research relevant topics with AI assistance and complete tasks that help test the scientific and language understanding of leading models.

• Currently enrolled in a master''s program in Biology, or a Biology graduate.
• Ability to participate effectively in primarily asynchronous work.
• Deep disciplinary and research expertise that can exceed current AI systems'' understanding and explanation of key concepts in your field.
• Interest in learning new skills while contributing to AI work across disciplines.

• Part-time, remote engagement.
• Flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hourly commitment.
• The program operates year-round, but placement and project availability vary by biology domain.
• Project selection is based on disciplinary and research expertise, with each project staffed by a small cohort.

Up to $55/hr (depending on the project)

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects.
• Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. If your school requires a CPT course, this work may not meet your school''s requirements.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
