Biologist for AI Content Evaluation

Biology experts apply advanced biological training to evaluate AI-generated scientific content and provide detailed feedback that improves AI understanding of biological reasoning, experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific problem solving. This is an ongoing, project-based, hourly contract role that can be performed remotely alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.

• Design domain-relevant, rigorous questions and tasks that probe biological knowledge and reasoning.
• Review AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and biological validity.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback, corrections, and annotations to improve model outputs, including notes on experimental design and data interpretation.
• Follow project-specific instructions and quality guidelines to produce reliable evaluations and assessments.
• Participate in multiple, short-term projects as needed; no prior AI or technical experience is required.

• Doctoral students and graduates, including those currently enrolled in a PhD program or in postdoctoral positions, in Biology or closely related life sciences fields.
• Strong background in advanced biological reasoning, experimental design, and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with core principles across subdisciplines such as molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, physiology, ecology, or computational biology.

• Engagement type: part-time, hourly contract work.
• Location: fully remote, asynchronous work.
• Schedule: flexible, no minimum hour requirement; contributors typically work approximately 5, 20 hours per week when participating in an active project.
• This is not a traditional academic or full-time role, and it is designed to be compatible with other professional or academic commitments.
• Placement on specific projects depends on current project needs, with the possibility to be considered for future projects as they become available.

Up to $75/hr (depending on the project)

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate. Work with your Designated School Official to confirm whether this work meets your school’s CPT or OPT requirements.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, these projects may not satisfy that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported for this work.
