Role Overview
Biology experts apply advanced biological knowledge to evaluate AI-generated content and provide domain-informed feedback that improves AI performance on experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific problem solving. This is remote, hourly contract work performed part time and on a project-by-project basis, suitable to run alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral appointments, or industry roles.
Key Responsibilities- Design rigorous, domain-relevant questions and evaluation tasks grounded in biological practice and reasoning.
- Review AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and biological validity.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback that explains errors, suggests corrections, and illustrates correct reasoning or experimental approaches.
- Identify edge cases, ambiguous prompts, and points where AI outputs diverge from accepted biological methods or interpretation.
- Doctoral students and graduates in Biology or closely related life science fields, including current PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers.
- Strong background in advanced biological reasoning, experimental design, and data interpretation.
- Expertise in one or more subdisciplines such as molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, physiology, ecology, or computational biology.
- No prior AI or technical experience is required.
- Location: Remote only.
- Employment type: Part-time, hourly contract work.
- Schedule: Flexible, asynchronous hours with no minimum weekly requirement.
- Typical commitment when active on a project: approximately 5 to 20 hours per week.
