Accountant for AI Model Training

This role engages experienced accounting professionals across audit, tax, financial reporting, bookkeeping, controllership, forensic accounting, and accounting systems to create high quality structured training data that teaches AI how to perform real accounting work. You will design realistic accounting scenarios from real practice, evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and standards compliance, and provide clear written feedback that improves how AI handles accounting tasks.

• Design realistic accounting scenarios and tasks drawn from day to day practice, for example financial statement preparation, reconciliations, journal entries, audit procedures, tax filings, month end close, and internal controls
• Review and compare AI generated accounting outputs for accuracy, compliance with GAAP or IFRS, and sound professional judgment
• Create structured examples that show how accountants reason through problems and make judgments
• Provide clear, written feedback that helps improve AI performance on accounting tasks
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team to refine tasks and evaluations

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, tax, bookkeeping, or finance operations in public accounting, corporate or in house roles, advisory, or at a firm
• CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, EA, or an equivalent professional credential required
• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Comfortable using common accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and Excel
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

• Open to contributors from any accounting specialty, you may focus where your expertise is strongest
• Work includes task design, evaluation of AI outputs, and providing structured feedback
• Strong contributors may advance into reviewer, lead, and domain expert roles

Remote engagement, billed on an hourly basis. Collaboration is primarily asynchronous with the research team.

Pay range: 80 to 120 hourly.
