Technical Problem Solver / Puzzle Solver

Build original competitive programming challenges that help evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems. You will create reinforcement learning environments that test an AI model''s ability to reason through complex programming problems.

• Create unique custom competitive programming problems that are not available on existing online judges.
• Develop reference solutions and robust test suites for each problem.
• Design and implement accurate, resilient C++ checkers for problems with multiple valid outputs.
• Evaluate submissions against complex problem statements, including those sourced from platforms such as Codeforces.
• Collaborate with the customer team to refine requirements and resolve ambiguous cases.
• Write maintainable C++ code that efficiently handles diverse outputs and edge cases.
• Document checker logic, communicate edge cases clearly, and provide feedback on test cases and checkers.
• Apply current competitive programming standards and best practices to checker development.

• Strong expertise in competitive programming and coding problem analysis.
• Advanced C++ proficiency, including the ability to build robust checker solutions.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex constraints and multiple solution paths.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to code validation and output consistency.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment and deliver well-documented work under tight deadlines.
• Prior experience as a problem setter, tester, or checker on major competitive programming platforms is preferred.
• No prior AI experience is required.

• Remote independent contractor engagement.
• Commit at least 15 hours per week.
• Work is task-based, and completion time may vary by experience and workflow.
• Minimum weekly task-submission requirements apply.

• Advertised rate range: $45 to $65 per hour.
• Payment is based on tasks that meet project specifications.

• Openings are typically filled within 48 hours. Selected candidates should be ready to complete onboarding and begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours afterward.
