Senior Designer, AI Design Research Study

Help inform the development of AI design tools by sharing how experienced designers evaluate problems, apply craft, and determine when work is ready to ship. This paid remote research study uses structured, recorded sessions to capture expert design thinking.

Depending on your fit, you may participate as the design expert being interviewed or conduct the interview with another expert designer.

• Discuss your approach to design problems, quality standards, critique, craft, and shipping decisions in recorded remote sessions.
• Prepare for each session and complete a brief follow-up review.

• Senior-level experience in product design, UX, brand design, or a related craft discipline.
• A clear, well-developed perspective on design quality, critique, and readiness to ship.
• A shareable portfolio, preferably provided as a website link.

• Remote, hourly engagement.
• Each task or interview requires approximately 4 to 5 hours, including preparation and a short review afterward.
• Study structure, timing, volume, and rate are still being finalized and may change.

$250 per hour.

Portfolios are reviewed only to determine fit for this study and will not be used for model training. Submit only work you are permitted to share publicly. Do not include confidential, unreleased, or NDA-covered material.
