Role Overview
Provide domain expertise in semiconductor device physics and microelectronics to produce high-quality inputs used to train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. Work remotely as a contractor to analyze devices, assess fabrication and materials, and translate complex engineering concepts into clear written and verbal content that improves model reasoning and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze semiconductor device physics, operational principles, and recent technical advances.
- Evaluate microfabrication techniques, including process integration and yield optimization.
- Provide technical assessments on device scaling, performance modeling, and reliability methodologies.
- Review and critique materials used in electronic and semiconducting device fabrication.
- Create detailed written explanations and provide verbal clarifications of complex engineering concepts for AI model training purposes.
- Deliver structured feedback on project data to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators and other domain experts through the platform.
- Required skills, semiconductors and engineering background.
- Advanced degree, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline preferred.
- Extensive experience in semiconductor device design, fabrication processes, and microelectronics engineering.
- Proven understanding of semiconductor physics, device modeling, and reliability testing.
- Hands-on exposure to modern microfabrication and process integration techniques.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to break down complex topics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical concepts clearly.
- Prior contributions to technical publications, patents, or collaborative R and D projects are a plus.

- No prior experience in AI is required; domain expertise in semiconductors and microelectronics is the primary qualification.
