About this role
Role Overview
Capture immersive third-person video that supports the training and evaluation of next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on continuous recordings of real-world movement, changing environments, vehicle navigation, and animal-mounted point-of-view activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Record diverse continuous video clips of everyday activities, each at least 60 seconds long, across indoor, outdoor, and in-vehicle environments.
- Capture natural movement, changing scenery, and navigation through real-world settings, including walking, driving-related recordings, and similar activities.
- Use a compatible 360° or wide-angle camera with at least a 170° field of view and 720p resolution.
- Maintain a stable third-person perspective in which your full body and the surrounding environment remain visible throughout normal movement.
- Use appropriate backpack, harness, or vehicle-mounted camera setups. Handheld selfie sticks, chest mounts, shoulder clips, and stationary tripods do not meet the required perspective.
- Follow project instructions for camera placement, activity selection, and safety to support consistent, high-integrity data collection.
- Organize, document, and submit video files according to technical and quality specifications.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally about progress, questions, and technical issues.
- Adapt to updates in collection activities, environments, or technical requirements as project needs change.
Qualifications
- Video-recording skills and strong attention to detail.
- Access to a compatible camera, such as an Insta360 X3, X4, X5, or X6; DJI Osmo 360; GoPro MAX or MAX2; or another action or 360° camera meeting the minimum field-of-view and resolution requirements.
- A compatible backpack or vehicle mount is a plus and may enable an earlier start. Suitable setups position the camera above and behind the subject, angle it slightly downward, and place it far enough back to keep the full body and surroundings in frame.
- For cameras with less than 360° coverage, the mounting arrangement must still keep the full body and surrounding environment visible without frequent loss of framing.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
- Tasks and recording environments may vary based on project requirements.
Compensation
- $20 per hour.
