Role Overview
Apply quality assurance expertise to review, evaluate, and improve technical outputs for AI-focused engineering evaluation work. This remote contract role combines core software testing practices with experience working in human data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases covering functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform manual and automated testing, documenting results with clear, reproducible steps.
- Identify, log, and track defects through structured bug reports.
- Evaluate and rate technical outputs against defined quality criteria and rubrics.
- Provide detailed written feedback and annotations that improve output quality.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine evaluation guidelines and testing standards.
Qualifications
- Professional experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, software testing, automation testing, test case design, regression testing, and bug tracking.
- Expertise with test case design, bug tracking systems, and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex findings in written reports and verbal discussions.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $60 to $112 per hour.
