Role Overview
Use your Malayalam music expertise to evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics across a broad range of genres. You will apply detailed quality standards in Malayalam and English to help assess output from generative music AI models.
Key Responsibilities
- Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
- Rate lyrics for quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
- Assess whether lyrics sound natural, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native Malayalam proficiency and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
- Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist, along with knowledge of the Malayalam music scene.
- Headphones or studio monitors appropriate for critical listening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
- Credited or published songwriting work.
- Broad familiarity with contemporary Malayalam genres, subgenres, and artists.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement with an immediate start.
- Project duration of up to 6 months.
- Flexible commitment, with most experts working approximately 20 hours per week and no maximum number of hours.
Compensation
- $15 per hour.
- Compensation is currently hourly. If the payment structure changes to per-task during the project, the effective hourly rate will remain the same.
