Role Overview

Produce high-fidelity Mandarin recordings that help train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role centers on delivering clear, technically polished vocal data that supports how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deliver high-fidelity Mandarin audio recordings using professional-grade equipment and project specifications.
• Follow established standards for audio quality, clarity, and consistency.
• Prepare and optimize recording environments to reduce background noise and improve sound fidelity.
• Provide varied vocal samples, tones, and pronunciations for a robust AI training dataset.
• Review, edit, and submit recordings that meet technical and linguistic standards.
• Respond professionally to project feedback and complete requested revisions.
• Maintain organized records of delivered files and related documentation.

Qualifications

• Native Mandarin speaker with clear, accurate pronunciation.
• At least three years of professional audio recording experience, such as studio work, voice-over, narration, or similar work.
• Proficiency with advanced audio-recording equipment and editing software.
• Ability to produce studio-quality recordings with minimal ambient interference.
• Strong attention to vocal delivery and technical setup.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AI data collection or linguistic-resource projects is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contractor engagement.
• Professional audio equipment is required and must be available during the interview.

Compensation

$20 to $40 per hour.
