Communication Professional for AI Research Projects

Communication Professionals apply editorial, reporting, and writing expertise to create and evaluate prompts and model outputs that help AI systems understand real-world professional language and tasks.

• Design industry-specific prompts and task descriptions for large language model evaluations.
• Review and rate model responses for accuracy, clarity, tone, and appropriateness.
• Provide written feedback and examples to guide model improvements.
• Work asynchronously with AI research teams to refine instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Contribute across different industry-focused projects as needs arise.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Editors; News Analysts, Reporters, and Journalists; Writers and Authors.
• Comfortable performing primarily asynchronous work and collaborating remotely with research teams.

• Part-time, remote, asynchronous work that you can perform from any location.
• Flexible hours with no minimum weekly time commitment required.
• Project assignments are offered periodically throughout the year, and placement depends on project availability.

• Pay varies by project, Up to $100/hr (depending on the project).

• F-1 students with eligible CPT or OPT authorization may qualify for assignments, but you must confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not satisfy that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported for these projects.

• Begin assignments for approved projects and receive payment according to the project terms.
