Blender Generalist

Role Overview

Apply hands-on, real-world Blender expertise in a remote hourly role focused on specialized application use.

Qualifications

• Professional experience using Blender in real-world settings.
• Blender must already be installed and available to open today on your own Windows PC.
• You must provide your own software access, hardware, and environment. Software licenses, virtual machines, and hardware are not provided.
• Relevant Blender work may include 3D modeling, sculpting, animation, rendering, and related work for 3D artists, animators, motion designers, and technical artists.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly engagement.
• You must be able to capture screenshots exceeding 2.5 megapixels.
• Qualify with one high-resolution monitor meeting the listed minimum for its aspect ratio: 4:3 at least 1826 x 1370; 16:9 at least 2109 x 1186; 16:10 at least 2000 x 1250; 3:2 at least 1937 x 1291; or 21:9 ultrawide at least 2416 x 1036.
• Examples of qualifying resolutions include 2048 x 1536; 2560 x 1440, 3840 x 2160, or 5120 x 2880; 2240 x 1400, 2560 x 1600, or 2880 x 1800; 2160 x 1440, 2256 x 1504, 2736 x 1824, or 3000 x 2000; and 2560 x 1080, 3440 x 1440, or 3840 x 1600.
• MacBook Pro 14-inch 3024 x 1964 and 16-inch 3456 x 2234 built-in displays also qualify.
• Alternatively, use two side-by-side monitors captured as one spanning image. Two monitors of at least 1920 x 1080 each qualify; one 1080p screen from such a pair does not qualify on its own.

Compensation

$30 to $40 per hour.
