About this role

Role Overview

Build secure, scalable AI systems for mission-critical government initiatives and proprietary AI infrastructure. This role applies large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and multi-agent orchestration to production-grade machine learning solutions while partnering with product, security, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models using LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
  • Develop and orchestrate multi-agent systems with tools and frameworks including LangGraph and LangChain.
  • Integrate and deploy solutions in secure cloud environments, including AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, and AWS Bedrock.
  • Build data pipelines, manage ETL processes, and develop metadata catalogs and ontologies that support high-quality AI training and inference data.
  • Create and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations for data and model interactions.
  • Apply secure coding and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, to deliver reliable solutions.
  • Document technical decisions and clearly communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, including REST API and SDK integration experience.
  • Hands-on production experience with LLMs, RAG systems, and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with multi-agent orchestration, tool use, and frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud AI services, including AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, and AWS Bedrock.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ontologies, metadata catalogs, and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI or agentic platforms such as Anthropic for Gov, OpenAI Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, or Grok Enterprise.
  • Knowledge of metadata catalog platforms, MCP, and advanced API development techniques.
  • Experience working in government or highly regulated cloud environments and with related compliance standards.

  • Remote, full-time role.

Compensation

  • Annual compensation range: $200, 000 to $350, 000.
