As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing backend services and patient-facing applications for an EHR-integrated care platform. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, and React while contributing to a mission-driven digital health technology company.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations and clinical workflows.
- Deploy and operate microservices on AWS using containerization.
- Build React/TypeScript provider- and patient-facing interfaces optimized for desktop and mobile.
- Develop integrations with patient-education and patient-engagement vendors, including notifications and tracking.
- Contribute to code reviews and system-design discussions, balancing quality with startup speed.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience building production software systems using TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP design, concurrency, and distributed systems.
- RESTful or event-driven API development with Node.js (Nest/Express).
- Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript, including mobile and desktop optimization.
- Comfort debugging across distributed services and working agilely in a startup environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States; this role is hybrid, with onsite days in Seattle, WA.
- Healthcare startup or health-data integration background.
- High-throughput messaging platform experience.
- AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud experience.
- Tailwind CSS expertise.
This is a full-time W-2 employment position based in Seattle, WA, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading healthcare technology company as part of their extended workforce. This is a hybrid role with two days a week in the Seattle office.
CompensationHourly compensation ranges from $55 to $75.
