Role Overview:
Join a dynamic team as a Research Quality Specialist, where your analytical skills and computational expertise will play a pivotal role in advancing AI systems. You will be responsible for designing and solving complex research problems, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in the field of computational mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
Quantitative Problem Design and Solutioning:
- Develop and conceptualize original, research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems using Python for scientific coding and programming.
- Define problem categories and secondary tags while assigning appropriate difficulty levels.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and logical coherence in solving formulated problems.
Quality Assurance & Collaboration:
- Participate in two-tier reviews, evaluating the accuracy of problems and solutions.
- Collaborate with reviewers and team leads, incorporating feedback to refine content and enhance quality.
Qualifications:
- PhD or PhD Candidates in Computational Math, with a focus on Numerical Linear Algebra and Computational Mechanics.
- At least 1 published peer-reviewed paper.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific coding is preferred.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration.
Work Terms:
- Commitment of 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap in PST.
- Contractor assignment/freelancer status (no medical/paid leave).
- Contract duration of 8 weeks, with an expected start date next week.
- Remote work available for candidates located in Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey, or Vietnam.
Compensation:
Competitive compensation based on experience and project needs.
