Project Coordinator, AI & Data Projects

Role Overview

Coordinate AI training-data and human-data projects that support the development of advanced generative AI models. You will serve as the operational link between program leadership and expanding teams of domain experts, helping research and data operations stay organized, responsive, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a day-to-day contact for AI data projects and keep workflows and operations running smoothly.
• Translate leadership input into clear guidance for expert teams, partnering closely with program leads and domain experts.
• Support the onboarding of new experts as the program expands.
• Participate in weekly business reviews, maintain meeting notes and action items, and lead calls when needed.
• Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and communicate findings across teams.
• Help create and refine project guidelines with research and product partners.
• Escalate potential roadblocks early and help drive resolution.
• Track deliverables in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Adapt to changing project needs.

Qualifications

• Based in the United States.
• STEM background strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years of project coordination or project management experience, including coordinating large cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with AI training-data or human-data projects as a project coordinator, team lead, EPM, or expert contributor.
• Strong data-management skills in Excel and SQL, plus working knowledge of coding.
• Prior people-management experience or a demonstrated ability to lead large groups effectively.
• Experience coordinating AI or data programs at organizations such as Meta, TikTok, or Amazon is preferred, as is EPM or project-lead experience on AI training projects.

Work Terms

• Hourly W-2 employment, with placement on an extended workforce supporting a leading AI lab.

Compensation

• $45 to $70 per hour.
