About this role
As a Procurement & Vendor Expert, you will play a key role in advancing frontier agent evaluations in procurement by collaborating with leading AI labs. Your primary responsibility will be to create long-horizon sourcing tasks that reflect your existing work, each accompanied by a deterministic rubric to assess agent performance against verifiable ground truth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop sourcing and diligence scenarios, including RFP responses evaluated against a rubric and vendor due diligence with required fields and known risk flags.
- Create contracting scenarios involving supplier contract reviews that identify a seeded list of issues and SOW negotiations aimed at achieving defined commercial outcomes.
- Design vendor management scenarios featuring scorecards with defined metrics and calculated totals, along with renewal analyses that provide a ground-truth recommendation.
These tasks will require intense focus and will be intellectually challenging.
Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
- Expertise in areas such as vendor due diligence, SOW negotiation and structuring, SaaS pricing models, supplier security review, and procurement-tool administration (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Zip).
- Proficient in reading and producing procurement artifacts, including RFPs, vendor scorecards, contract summaries, and negotiation plans.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning clearly and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
- Must be located in the United States or Canada.
This is a remote position with an hourly employment type.
CompensationThe compensation ranges from $75 to $100 per hour, depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors will have opportunities for promotion based on task quality and throughput.
