About this role

Role Overview

As a Policy Administration & Compliance Expert, you will play a crucial role in advancing agent evaluations in insurance policy administration and compliance. Your focus will be on creating long-horizon administrative and compliance tasks that reflect real-world scenarios, each accompanied by a deterministic rubric that assesses agent performance against verifiable ground truth. The tasks you develop will require precise, checkable answers, avoiding open-ended questions or subjective assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scenarios across the policy lifecycle, including endorsements with required fields and correct premium impacts, renewals adhering to guidelines, cancellations with state-required notice periods, and premium audits linked to source exposure data.
  • Create scenarios for certificates and documents, such as COI issuance based on contract requirements and policy form and wording reviews against a defined issue list.
  • Design regulatory scenarios, including state DOI filings with necessary exhibits and market conduct exam responses with documented ground-truth answers.
  • Engage in challenging tasks that require long sessions of focused work.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in policy administration, insurance operations, or insurance compliance at a carrier, MGA, or broker.
  • Expertise in one or more areas: endorsement and renewal processing, premium audit practices, COI issuance and tracking, state DOI filings and market conduct, policy form and wording review, or familiarity with policy administration platforms such as Guidewire PolicyCenter, Duck Creek, AMS360, EPIC, or other carrier systems.
  • Ability to read and produce policy administration artifacts, including endorsements, renewal packages, COIs, DOI filings, and audit workpapers.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
  • Professional designations such as AINS, CPCU, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Must be located in the United States.
